Upon joining the Bar, Mr Selimi was the last pupil to have read with Mr Philip Dunn QC.
Since signing the Roll of Counsel, Counsel has practised predominantly in the field of general commercial litigation in the County, Supreme and Federal Courts and has also appeared in several criminal trials in the Magistrates and County Courts.
Although Mr Selimi predominantly practices in complex commercial matters in superior Courts, he also appears in contested property disputes in the Family Court and property disputes in de facto relationship cases.
Mr. Selimi completed his Articles with the law firm Maddock Lonie & Chisholm.
Upon admission to practice in 1990, he practised as a solicitor for 5 years with Mulcahy Mendelson & Round gaining a wide range of experience in general commercial litigation and crime.
During his time as a solicitor, Mr. Selimi appeared as a “solicitor advocate” in most of his cases including interlocutory applications and trials in the Magistrates’, County, Supreme and Federal Courts.
